Dr. Kelly Delahunty, pediatrician from Hudson Physicians and Dr. Janette Concepcion, clinical psychologist practicing in Oakdale, MN have teamed up to present tools for parents to help recognize and deal with mental health issues in children and teens. Free and open to the Public
Varsity track at Glenwood City has been cancelled. Baseball has been cancelled and rescheduled to a double-header at Osceola on May 20th. Softball is still on at Prescott.
Congrats to Mya Kizer for breaking the school record last night in the 800m with a time of 2:22.70!!!
Foods 2 students utilized creativity along with some engineering and math skills to plan, build, and design a gingerbread structure.
Students in Ms. Hawkins' Foods 1 class experienced the joy of making homemade pasta. In addition, they also created their own red sauce with a variety of spices and herbs.
Congrats to Joe Hueg for setting the school record in the Discus last night with a distance of 146ft and 10in!

This year's prom will take place on May 4, 2019. Grand March will begin at 7:00 PM in the St. Croix Central Community Auditorium. The dance will begin after Grand March and end at 11:00 PM.

Several members of the junior class took a tour of the University of Minnesota on Tuesday.
The Advanced Foods class was challenged by McDonald's to create a dish that included bacon in honor of their new bacon menu items. Each group created a recipe, tested and evaluated their idea, and presented their final products to three members of the McDonald's staff.
Incubation anyone? Mrs. Rozeboom’s Large Animal Vet Science class candles the eggs they are incubating to check for viable chicks.
PITCrew's culminating event for Mental Health Awareness Week. Student's raised approximately $60 to support mental health at the high school AND were able to see their teachers and peers receive a pie to the face!
Students attended the Hiring Expo at WITC to learn about the different aspects of the job hiring process.
Wyatt Turbeville placed 7th overall in Computer Problem Solving at the FBLA State Conference that was held at the KI Center in Green Bay on Monday and Tuesday. Great job Wyatt! #sccspirit
