Today the German students got to make their very own Schultüte to celebrate the first day of school! They filled them with treats and back to school items. This German tradition dates back to the 1800s!

Day 1 for Freshmen and new students. What a way to start the year!
School to Career/Work Release Mandatory Meeting:
There will be a mandatory meeting for all students scheduled for school to career/work experience on Wednesday, August 21st at Noon or 7:00p.m. at the high school in room 117. We will go over the required paperwork which will need to be completed and returned prior to school starting on 29th so it is important that students attend one of the two meetings. Parents are also encouraged to attend. Please email tcrowley@scc.k12.wi.us if you have any questions or if students have a conflict and will need to set up an alternate meeting date.

Congratulations to the FFA Trap Team! They placed 14th overall out of more than 200 teams in the National High School Clay Target tournament held this past week in Mason, Michigan. All five members competed individually as well, with three advancing to those finals. This year’s team included Abby Boettcher, Kelton Rozeboom, John Miles, Ethan Boettcher, and Brock Thorsen. All were invited to compete based off of their spring season averages. The team wishes to thank all of their coaches and supporters who helped and encouraged them this season!
