Special Education Day is celebrated annually on December 2nd. SCC would like to recognize our entire staff of special education professionals who provide such an important education to our students. You all are truly appreciated every day!
Students had the opportunity to learn about the Ojibwe culture in 5th grade social studies! Thanks to our guest speakers from the St. Croix Ojibwe tribe we learned about traditional clothing, the Ojibwe language, wild rice, deer hunting traditions, ceremonies, medicine, and even heard traditional songs on the drum! Thank you Amik, Giizhigookwe, and Aanakwadoons!

Reminder that the SCC FBLA & Business Management class will be hosting a food drive Dec. 4th-8th. Students are invited to bring in items as there will be competitions at the schools. If community members would like to donate there will be boxes available at each building.
Reminder for parents of Seniors that pictures are due for the yearbook by December 22nd.

Reminder that the Middle School is accepting fleece donations to make tie blankets for the Western Wisconsin Health Infusion Center until Nov. 29th. Please stop by the middle school office with your donations by Wednesday for students to make blankets at the Dec. 1st Club Day.

Reminder that there will be no school from Monday, November 20th through Friday, November 24th. SCC would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving break. School will resume on Monday, November 27th.
Substitute Educators Day recognizes the vital role substitutes play in the maintenance and continuity of daily education. These educators provide a critical link to students by serving as a bridge to provide quality education to students during the absence of regular educators.
