Thank you to Culver's for your continued partnership with the SCC Middle School! Our Spring Share Night proceeds have been added to our fund to be used towards a new piece of playground equipment at the Middle School. Thank you!!

Exciting work continues on the front of the high school building as well with the St. Croix Virtual Academy addition and improvements to parking and traffic flow.

Remember those plastic bags that were left on Hammond doorsteps in June? The 7th & 8th Grade Service Learners, along with Mrs. Malecek, Miss Mondry & Mrs. Knowles, would like to thank you for your generous donations! We were able to provide the Hammond Library, in conjunction with other Hammond food pantries, much needed food and personal items to local residents.

Ten athletes traveled to Mason, MI to compete in the USA Trap Nationals. 1800 individuals battled it out . 4 of 10 advanced to the finals. Results include: Isaac Bauer: 70th, Brock Thorsen: 67th, Riley Becker: 19th and Oliver Cran: 5th.

2 SCC FFA Trap Teams traveled to Mason, MI to compete in the National Championships. Both squads advanced to finals as did four of ten individuals. SCC had an amazing showing! Results include: Squad one: 19th high overall --Squad two: 68th high overall

And that's a wrap on our June session of Summer School! Our last day of summer school was June 29th. We hope all of our students are enjoying their summer! We will see those of you who are signed up for swimming lessons back starting on July 17th!

If you played volleyball for SCC for a significant portion of its history, chances are you were coached by Beth Monson. On June 7th, Teresa Viessman & Terrill Florcyk presented her with a quilt they had made highlighting her years as a coach and the impact she had on their lives.

Construction crews have been working hard on demolition on the high school parking lot since the start of summer break in preparation for the parking lot expansion and high school additions.

St. Croix Central School District would like to thank our SCC Food for Kids Backpack Program supporters for their generous donations during the 2022-2023 school year. We could not offer this program without your support!

Elementary Summer School students had a visitor this morning!

SCC 7th & 8th grade Service Learning students need your help! Some Hammond residents received a bag/flier on Thursday, June 8th. Please consider donating whether you have a bag or not. Service learners will be blanketing Hammond June 22nd to pick up donated items. Please set your donation on your front step labeled “SCC” & students will gladly pick them up! Please help US help OTHERS!

SCC Summer Running begins tomorrow morning, join us at the high school for some summer conditioning!

SCC is once again State Trap Champions! We had two males in the top 3! Oliver Cran was the top varsity male and shot 100 straight. Isaac Bauer shot a 99 out of 100 and placed 3rd! Maddy Dull was the top varsity female and shot 99 out of 100. Awesome job kids and coaches!

Great first week of workouts! Our 7 am session finished up in the gym at the same time our 8 am session started getting after it. Amazing participation by our student athletes and coaches.

Our girls' soccer team has three Middle Border All Conference members. Congrats to Kendall Sundby and Bryn Afdahl on their selection to the 1st team and congrats to Sami Knoebel to her selection on the 2nd team.

Congrats to baseball coach Brad Sauve on earning MBC Coach of the Year! Our players also took home multiple honors on the MBC All Conference Teams: 1st Team: Eli Babler, Eli Ponath 2nd Team: Mason Sullivan Honorable Mention: Mark Albright, Kyle Trainor

On top of being the regional champs, our softball players earned multiple Middle Border All Conference honors! 1st Team: Morgan Barker 2nd Team: Gracie Delander, Lucy Mansell, Maddie Rydberg Honorable Mention: Izzy Sabelko, Faith Bonse, Grace Melstrom

Today we will also be honoring some very special SCC staff as they begin (or have already begun) their retirement. Thank you for the years that you spent with the district. We wish you much enjoyment of your retirement years. May you enjoy many happy & healthy years to come!

Today, we will meet to honor those staff members with years of service milestones. We thank you all for your dedication and loyalty to the St. Croix Central School District, our students and our community. We hope to continue with these partnerships well into the future.
