Eli Ponath received a $125 cash scholarship for completing the Diesel Technician Youth Apprenticeship program. Youth Apprenticeship (YA) gives high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to explore their chosen career path,
and helps employers develop a qualified and committed workforce.

Students in Ms. Hawkins' Sewing class worked very hard on a collaborative project with Mrs. Gayan's and Mrs. Johnson's classes. The elementary students drew pictures of monsters they'd like to have. The high school sewing students spent months hand sewing the monsters for these wonderful students. Today was the day to have the groups come together to share muffins and deliver the hand-sewn monsters. It was a day of pure joy to see these two age groups comes together through this fun project.
