It's almost time for the start of the CTE Open House . The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 4:00, followed by tours of the new facilities. Along with the chance to sign up for some awesome raffle prizes, there will also be some student merchandise available for purchase.
Here is a brief schedule for tonight's CTE Open House. Tours are scheduled to begin every half hour. Students will be in rooms working on projects so that you are able to see the rooms in use. Make sure to stick around in the commons after your tour to sign up for raffle prizes and grab some refreshments!
Baking & Pastry Arts students have been learning about how to make a variety of yeast breads. Today's lab was tie-dye bagels!
Foods 1 students learned how to cook eggs in a variety of ways including how to poach eggs and make hollandaise sauce for Eggs Benedict.
An example of the student-made raffle prizes that will be available on Wednesday night at the CTE Community Open House. Please join us on Wednesday between 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for a tour featuring student-led demonstrations, student-made prizes and student-made refreshments!
Fifth grade students were able to learn about Africa through the use of our VR headsets in Literacy class!
