Discovery Kitchen on the Go made a stop at the middle school this afternoon with a Roasted Sweet Cinnamon Butternut Squash. Check to see if your student sampled it and what they thought.

Students in Ms. Hanson and Mrs. Timmers' classes worked together on Halloween to carve pumpkins.
Students in the International Foods course learned how to make gnocchi during the Italian Cuisine unit.
It was a very exciting day in Foods 1 as students were challenged to create the Ultimate Grilled Cheese sandwich! Students had to sample and research a variety of cheeses to create a stunning sandwich for staff judges. Great job to the students for their creativity and thank you to the staff for your help as judges.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Career and Technical Education Community Open House last night! The CTE teachers (along with some of their students) were honored to show the community the improvements the district was able to make in CTE programming as a result of the referendum.
