🎉So far our PPG Fun Run has raised an incredible $19,912 — and we couldn’t be more excited! To celebrate this amazing milestone, our top two student fundraisers had the honor of pie-ing our Elementary Principals in the face! 🥧👏 What a fun (and messy!) way to celebrate!
We have until Friday to reach our goal of $30,000!
Eight Gifted & Talented Math students from St. Croix Central Middle School competed in the Wisconsin State Mathematics Contest this year and earned a first place team finish in the Class B bracket. The SCC team crushed their competition with a total of 181 points (earning 53 more points than their closest competitor). In comparing our team finish to all middle school teams in the state, we earned second. Each participating school is allowed to have eight students compete, but no more than four of those students can be 8th graders. The competition has two parts: individual and team. For each of the first four problem sets, each individual student attempts to solve problems worth 1, 3, and 5 points, respectively. For the team problem set, all team members will work cooperatively to solve six problems, each worth 10 points. The competition is timed -- with 15 minutes for each of the four individual events and 25 minutes for the team event. Congratulations!
GT Students involved:

Elementary Fun Run Update! We've got three hours left on the clock. Let's rally together and push this fundraising to the next level! Imagine the fun as we aim to reach our goal and get the chance to pie not just one, but two amazing principals – Mrs. Clay and Mrs. Jacobs – right in the face! Let's make these hours count!
