Athletics on November 18th


Students in Ms. Hawkins' Advanced Foods class ran a food truck project in the Panther Cafe last week! Staff were able to order from the students' menus for lunch. It was a great opportunity for students to learn how to use our new equipment and provide meals for the staff.

Discovery Kitchen on the Go made a stop at the Elementary School yesterday with samples of the Roasted Sweet Cinnamon Butternut Squash. Thank you to Food Service Director, Sandy Stefl-Reese, for bringing these opportunities to all of our students!









The Fuel Up to Play students got cooking making fruit and cheese kabobs yesterday afternoon. They learned that this would be an easy contribution for them to add to a holiday meal. Great job students!

The SCC Food for Kids program was grateful to receive a generous donation from the Women of Trinity Lutheran Church this morning. Thank you for your help keeping our program running for families in need in the district!

Thank you to the middle school for wrapping up our Veterans Day with another great program. Thank you to Mrs. Heinbuch and Brinlee for being our speakers and to the Scouts who participated in the program. Thank you once again to all of our Veterans for your service!











The high school students also put on a fantastic Veterans Day program this morning. Thank you to American Legion Post 432 and Skip Ballard for your contributions to this year's program. There is one more opportunity this afternoon at the middle school at 1:00 p.m. to attend one of SCC's Veterans Day programs!
