SCC Elementary Families! Help your student's class win tonight's challenge by creating a student star video on funrun.com! The top class with the most NEW pledges will earn game time with the Booster team. It's super easy to do, plus it's guaranteed to get some likes and laughs when you share the video on social media. Also - did you know we have gotten pledges from 22 states so far? Let's see if we can get a pledge from all 50 states!

St. Croix Central Elementary Families! We are so excited that we have officially kicked off our Panther DanceFit Fundraiser! We have a goal to raise $8,000 for our classroom libraries! Our students will be learning all about Teamwork, Care, Courage, Grit, & Celebration over the next two weeks, all the while collecting pledges and donations on funrun.com for every minute they dance on February 18th. The best way you can support our school is to log onto funrun.com and get your students registered, then SHARE your student's pledge link! We have a goal to get 100% of our students registered (currently we have 27% registered) If you can't give this year, that is OKAY! Sharing is still supporting our community! We can't wait to have some fun with our students.

With the cold temps yesterday, Mrs. Becker's 2nd graders found ways to create their own fun during inside recess!

"10 Books for Black History Month" on this week's PANTHERS IN LIBRARY LAND (Ms. Olson's library blog) https://panthersinlibraryland.blogspot.com/

One of our fourth grade students, Lou, is hosting an aluminum can drive at SCC elementary. He was inspired by school custodian Mr. Brown who recycles cans and donates the money. Lou has shown hard work, determination, and perseverance throughout this event process. All proceeds will be going directly to Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN to purchase more toys and activities for children staying in the hospital. If you’d like to help, please consider dropping off your bagged aluminum cans at the elementary school (along the brick wall by the front lobby) from now until February 16. Thank you!

Last week, Woody stopped by Mrs. Schwartz's first grade classroom to present the class with the C.A.R.E.S. trophy for doing a great job of showing responsibility. Great job, 1st graders!

Last week, Woody visited Mrs. Schultz's kindergarten classroom to present the students with the C.A.R.E.S. trophy for showing great responsibility. Good job, kindergarteners!
