On Friday, May 17th, middle and high school ELL students went for a tour at Allianz field, home of the MN United soccer team. We also ate lunch at the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis, in which students could try food from around the world and buy international goods.

8th graders who didn’t travel to DC spent Monday morning working with students at the Elementary School. Then, in the afternoon, they worked at the Village of Roberts Public Works cleaning seven miles of glass piping. Did you know Roberts is home to the only ClearAs technology (Advanced Biological Nutrient Recovery System) in the country, which uses algae to clean water of phosphorus?

Yesterday afternoon the Fuel Up to Play 60 students met with Mrs. Sandy for the final time of this school year to help choose their favorite menu items for the Elementary School and to learn about new items at the Middle School. Good luck at the Middle School!!!
The 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Bands combined in the middle school gym yesterday after lunch to play through a few songs together. It was LOUD, and it was great to see three years of energy and achievement in one spot.
