These 10 SCC students were joined at the conference with SCC Alumni, Molly Diaz, who was serving as the Under Secretary General, the 2nd highest leadership role at the conference. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also likely to be the first people to help students find the resources they need to learn. They also encourage students to pursue reading outside of academic texts. Thank you to our Library Media Specialist, Jennifer Franklin and to our Library Paras: Brandie Rolling, Emily Kenall & Amy Hueg for the hard work that you all put into our school's libraries.
Congrats to all the Scholar Athlete recipients in the Middle Border Conference and the our own winners, Payton Merth and Owen Wasley. It was an awesome experience hearing from the scholar athletes last night.
Paraprofessionals, or paras, do a little of everything in schools. They support classes, are assigned to specific students in special education, support the general running of the school, and help supervise students. Paraprofessional Appreciation Day is a chance to put them in the spotlight and recognize the dedication they bring to students each day. Thank you to all of our paraprofessionals for your dedication to our students! We appreciate the hard work that you all do every day!
Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 School Board Election: Erica Herink, Joshua Pettit & Brad Wester! Thank you to all of this year's candidates for your dedication to our district!!
