CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION & ASSESSMENTS

Welcome to the St. Croix Central School District’s Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment webpage. We are pleased you have chosen to explore the information here, as it is directly related to our students’ overall educational success.

SCC prides itself on putting relationships first, all while providing the best educational experiences for all of our students 4K-12. Teachers, administrators and support staff spend much of their time working in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to collaborate and improve their knowledge of standards, curriculum/resources, instructional strategies, and data utilization with the goal of continuous improvement for the benefit of all students.  PLC work is guided by these four essential questions:

  1. What do we want our students to know and be able to do?

  2. How will we know if they learn it?

  3. How will we respond if they don’t learn it?

  4. How will we extend the learning for students who are already proficient?
